Bodium Castle

Kodak Tri-X 400 developed in Rodinal. I know, a high speed film in a high acutence developer??? what was i thinking? Well, truth be told, I dont know. But now I can tell you, expect lovely mid and dark tones and absolutely no detail in the lights.

Mawgan Porth

Looking out one of the caves on the south west side of Mawgan Porth Beach. Shot on Kodak Tri-X 400 developed in Rollei RHS, scanned and absolutely no post processing, well, I may have removed some random white spots, but only two. might do some processing to it later on, we will see, hope you all had a good holidays and looking forward to a new year.

Everywhere you look, plants are starting to flower. The weather is turning, apparently, and the magnolia trees are one of the first that we notice flowering along the roadside.

Cheetahs and whisskas

The cheetah was steadfastly ignoring us.  Determinedly staring away from us.  Only turning his head to look at us when in desperation we whispered ‘whiskkas’.

I know I may have mentioned this but Wales is stunning.  Here’s a gate leading down a hillside and the view from the road overlooking the campsite we stayed at.

It’s the small things

Visiting The Fairy Glen was not as easy as you may think.  There are no really detailed maps, just a general ‘it’s near Betws-y-coed’.  And we weren’t alone in trying to find it, we kept coming across other tourists who had read the Terry Brooks series trying to visit The Lady’s pools.  When we eventually found it, after a day of looking in all the wrong places:  we followed the pathway we came across a calm pool filled with fish and birds feasting on the insects that congregated over the still water, there was a small cluster of purple flowers hanging off some rocks.
